Joining the Crew

Hey everyone!

I’m Kerry Daigle, the newest member of With the Winds. I was first introduced to this project in a casual conversation with Henry and Grant in September, and I knew instantly that I wanted to be involved. Although I don’t share their sailing expertise, I have always been passionate about the sea and ocean conservation. Fortunately, Middlebury College allows and encourages flexibility in student pursuits over our January semester. Once I decided I wanted to get on board, the logistics came together quickly and my participation soon became a reality.

This fall I am contributing what I can to help with Henry and Grant’s extensive planning, but my real work will begin at the start of their voyage. I will be posting updates of their whereabouts and their current progress, as

well as serving as a contact for questions from any followers. As for my independent project at sea, I am still in the process of developing what exactly I want to do. I look forward to updating you all with my ideas when they are nailed down.
